Form Shift is an audiovisual collaboration between myself and electronic musician Karl Jorgensen originally streamed on The Salt Lake City library's 12 Minutes Max program on December 20 2020.

The visuals were created by manipulating source footage that was generated with the use of a GAN; an artificially intelligent image generation machine. The effect was to completely deconstruct each frame into something totally new that uses the source video merely as a color palette to help organize each frame. I used a variety of glitch, corruption, and algorithmic techniques to achieve the final effect, with the predominant process used being pixel sorting.
